An SNP official has described Nicola Sturgeon's expected resignation as a "Jacinda Ardern moment".
The official told Politico: "It’s a Jacinda Ardern moment. Better to leave before the ship sinks and you’re pushed."
2. Sir Keir Starmer has barred Jeremy Corbyn from standing for Labour at the next election and told his followers to quit the party if they don’t like the direction he is taking it in.
In a speech on Wednesday he insisted the fight to root out antisemitism was not over and there was “no space for anyone” who denied it was a problem.
He vowed that Labour will “never again be a party captured by narrow interest.
Not that I would be voting Labour. I'm a Tory but not the wet one.
