If nothing else, this affair, together with Trumps attitude to Ukraine, demonstrates what a bunch of "a holes" this whole American administration is dominated by because everything that comes out of their mouths is excrement. They are hostile, unreliable, duplicitous, scheming, self-serving, two faced and any other negative adjective one can think of.
The incoming German Chancellor is absolutely correct in stating that Europe must rapidly work towards becoming independent from Washington which in just a couple of months has demonstrated that it (Trump) simply cannot be trusted as a friend or ally.
The “glitch” is cavalier incompetence.
Elect a clown: get a circus.
I can’t believe what I’m listening to. Trump gets off on the fawning adulation on the supine sycophants he has employed. All he wants is for people to tell him he’s wonderful. More like a toddler than a mature adult.
Nothing to worry about. Thanks to Tulsi Gabbard, the US has no secrets to begin with.
Worse than amateur.... In the 50 and 60s this level of stupidity would have seen them disappeared on a canoeing trip ...

Well I very much doubt that Melania helps him out.
Is America a country anyone wants to be sharing strategic intelligence with?
Americans have traditionally been naive when it comes to foreign policy.
They may find those allies they have been bad mouthing might choose not to cooperate which makes the US blind in regions better known to their former friends.

They were very envious of our top spy Gordievsky, and we resisted telling them, the moment we did one of their agents told the Russians.
It's as if a wildly incompetent criminal gang have somehow installed themselves in the most powerful positions in the world. Lying and wearing clown shoes are the only requirements for the job. Expected much more of this.
The UK needs to consider our relationship with america over. We shouldn't share Intel, we shouldn't encourage trade and we should continue to encourage our citizens to recognise the very real danger of traveling to america. Disappointing as I am a big fan of the states, but Trump and MAGA have created a totally toxic environment we must reject.
I believe the correct term is a SNAFU, System Normal, All F'ed Up. Obviously normal from Agent Orange and his cabinet of incompetents so I fear there will be many more to come in the next four years.
Many Democrats still don't seem to accept that they made any mistakes with their 2024 candidate, policies or campaign, which does not bode well for their chances in 2028. With that in mind the UK needs to accept there is no special relationship, keep Trump, his cabinet and the US at arms length and act accordingly.
